DWD: La Crosse hits lowest unemployment rate on record

Quite literally, the job market in La Crosse has never looked better. 

According to Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development, numbers released today show the city has never had an unemployment rate for any month lower than the 2.4% mark recorded in December. 

In all, 15 of the state’s municipalities in December either tied or set a record for the lowest ever unemployment rate. 

The state as a whole also set a record low mark of 3% in December.
