Nobody likes a tattletail. It’s a thought that often permeates student culture.

A new app allows students to anonymously report misbehavior, instead of talking to someone.

It’s being utilized by many school districts, including Onalaska middle and high school students, though it’s not the best option, believes Onalaska Middle School principal Jed Kees.

“With students, it’s always something that comes up,” Kees said. “It’s another option.

“It does not replace the traditional method and the one that we prefer, of seeking out an adult that you know and trust, and talking about these things and reporting these things.”

Since the app was made available Tuesday, there have been no reports made, Kees noted.

The app does not have great reviews on either iTunes or the Google Play Store.
