Wheelchair stolen off student’s porch, recovered
It was a crime that had a lot of people scratching their heads.
A 20-year-old student had her wheelchair stolen over the weekend. Don’t worry, it has since been recovered.
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student left her wheelchair on the porch to dry off after it had snowed.
She went out around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. By the time she returned around 11 p.m., the chair, valued at $2,000, was gone.
She initially posted on social media someone had stolen the chair. Police said it was returned after a member of the public located it on the UW-L campus.
