BABY ON BOARD: Man brings baby in minivan to drug deal with undercover police on French Island
Drug deals are one thing, but one went down on French Island where the guy pulled up in a minivan with his baby in back.
No word from police if he had a ‘baby on board’ sign on his back window.
But they did arrest Cale Oelfke, after the 20-year-old pulled up in his minivan, suspected of setting up a drug deal with an undercover officer.
Four others were apparently in the van, as well, along with meth and marijuana.
Oelfke claimed he was actually going to ‘rip off’ the buyer by selling him sugar instead of meth, and claimed he shouldn’t be the only adult in the van who was arrested.
Oelfke, who originally messaged undercover police on Facebook saying he was interested in selling meth, faces four charges, including intent to deliver meth.
Oelfke also was arrested on a meth possession charge last summer. He’s scheduled to reach a plea agreement in that case later this month.
