Bomb sniffing dogs got a solid workout Thursday afternoon in La Crosse.

According to police, a vaguely worded bomb threat left in a bathroom at Aptiv on 3000 South Ave. led to an evacuation of personnel there.

La Crosse and state patrol bomb sniffing dogs were used to clear the Aptiv buildings.

The threat was called into police at about 11:10 a.m.

Police left the scene around 2 p.m. and workers were allowed back into the building.

No arrests have been made. It’s unclear whether police have suspects and the exact language of the threat has not yet been released by police.
