Recount of county board race decided by two votes set for Wednesday
A La Crosse County board election decided by only two votes will be put to a recount Wednesday.
The recount in the 24th District race begins at 9 a.m.
Supervisor Leon Pfaff requested the new count, after losing his seat to Kevin Hoyer 299-297 in last Tuesday’s election.
Three write-in votes were cast in the district, which includes towns in the northern part of La Crosse County.
Pfaff was the only supervisor on the 29-member county board unseated in the election.
