Night manager of mall store accused of raping teenage co-worker

A clothing store manager at Valley View Mall in La Crosse is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage co-worker at the mall.

Twenty-eight-year-old Steven Meyer could get 50 years in prison, if he’s found guilty of two charges of child enticement, and a count of sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old. 

A criminal complaint says Meyer, who’s a night manager at the “Journeys” store in the mall, had sex with the teen last month.

The store sells clothing and accessories for teenagers. 

The girl said that Meyer gave her alcohol and pot before they had sex, and she was still intoxicated when her mother came to pick her up from work.
