With three children in the car, a 300-pound man allegedly attacked his wife on the way back from a waterpark trip in Wisconsin Dells.

La Crosse police say Matthew Vinson suspected that his wife was cheating on him so he hit her in the face while they were riding home from the waterpark Saturday — her three young children in the back seat.

The 31-year-old also stopped the car, pulled his wife out, slammed her to the ground and knelt on her.

The woman said Vinson also threw her into the river. Apparently her 6-year-old son tried to help her.

When the family got back to La Crosse, Vinson went to a barbershop to confront the man who had sex with his wife.

The man told police he was under the impression the couple had split up.

Vinson met the man at his barbershop and the two fought inside before falling out the door with Vinson landing on top of the other man, while striking him.

Vinson is accused of several crimes, including battery, strangulation and intimidating a victim.
