With Mississippi River above flood stage at La Crosse, city closes Pettibone Park

Most of the roads and much of the park is underwater. In fact, the city parks dept. has closed the park until further notice. 

The Mississippi River at La Crosse was at flood stage Tuesday morning and will stay above flood stage — just above it — for the next few days.
