Schneider Heating gets energy award

Former Assemblyman Huebsch helps honor local HVAC dealer

An area heating contractor has been noticed by Madison for its energy-saving work.

Schneider Heating and Air Conditioning has received a statewide “Focus on Energy Excellence” award. 

The “Focus” organization promotes low-cost and renewable energy projects around Wisconsin. 

Former Onalaska legislator Mike Huebsch, who now sits on the Public Service Commission, took part in the ceremony at Schneider’s Onalaska offices. 

Huebsch praised Schneider Heating for finding ways to keep the cost of energy down.
 
Schneider has been in business since the 1930’s. 

It’s one of 16 winners of the excellence award this year in Wisconsin, and the only winner in the immediate La Crosse area.
