Considered armed and dangerous, fugitive with La Crosse ties still on the run
Maybe not in La Crosse county, but the sheriff’s department is still warning about a fugitive on the run who may have surfaced in the area at some point.
Jonathan Pogreba, last seen on the run from Waukesha county late last month, where he allegedly assaulted his wife with a gun and stole a neighbor’s car.
Considered armed and dangerous. With connections in La Crosse.
Pogreba May have broken into a Trempealeau county cabin, leaving a note and blood behind. The note suggested he may be heading to the Boundary Waters. The blood suggested he might be injured.
The La Crosse sheriff’s department say Pogreba should still be considered armed and dangerous.
They also acknowledge he may have ditched the white BMW he stole from a neighbor and switched cars.
