In court, suspect says she didn’t cut off her GPS monitor, “it slipped off.”

They tried putting her on a GPS monitor but, somehow, it didn’t stay on her ankle.

Now, burglary suspect Robin Shilling is being kept in the La Crosse County jail on a cash bond.

Monday in court, Judge Scott Horne argued that Shilling was taking off her monitor but she had a different explanation.

“I didn’t cut it off,” she told Horne. “It’s intact. It slipped it off. I slipped it off. I didn’t mean, it’s not cut.”

Shilling is accused of stealing items from Fayze’s restaurant late one night in April. The judge has ordered her to stay away from Fayze’s between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
