Another postal worker in western Wisconsin sentenced for stealing mail

Another post office worker in western Wisconsin has been sentenced for stealing mail.

Joanne Huehn, formerly of Polk County, was sentenced to five years probation in federal court for taking Menards rebate checks from the mail and spending them herself.

The 42-year-old was caught on security cameras using one of those stolen checks at a Menards store.

She also admitted to stealing more than $1,000 from post office cash registers.

Last month, Justin Cain of Cashton, Wis., also was placed on probation for stealing thousands of pieces of mail. Cain committed the thefts to get money to buy heroin.
