Charges pending against men suspected in La Crosse brawl

Two men, who were caught fighting each other in downtown La Crosse, could be charged soon.

Troy West and Sean Veal, Jr., are suspected of disorderly conduct, after a fight on 3rd Street early Saturday morning.

West claimed he was punched by Veal, and said he belongs to a Chicago gang. Online court records indicate that the 29-year-old was sent to prison for his role in a La Crosse County gang rape in 2005, when he was 16.

The fight between the two reportedly followed a larger brawl on 3rd, involving about 30 people.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
