La Crosse show choir director’s plea hearing on sexual assault charges is pushed back to September
The accusers of a La Crosse area show choir director will have to wait a bit longer before he reaches a plea agreement on sex-related charges.
Dustin Bagstad had been scheduled for a plea hearing Tuesday in La Crosse County court, but the hearing has been reset for mid-September.
Bagstad faces 19 charges, including sexually assaulting two children, dating as far back as 2010.
Bagstad is a former part-time employee with the La Crosse School District. He was placed on leave Dec. 10, 2017, when he was first accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Logan High School student in choir over more than a year.
