One dead in motorcycle crash on Hwy. 53 near Holmen
La Crosse county sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash today.
The sheriff has released little information so far on the crash site first responders went to this morning after getting a call about a motorcycle in the ditch at about 11 o’clock.
The motorcycle was next to highway 53 just south of county MH at Holmen. The rider did not survive the crash.
Police say the bike was southbound on 53 when the accident occurred.
The name of the rider has been withheld pending notification of relatives. More information on the accident is expected to be released tomorrow morning.
