Hwy 14 open to Coon Valley from La Crosse

The road going to Coon Valley is once again open to traffic.

The highway 14 bridge over Coon Creek has reopened to traffic, allowing direct access to the village from La Crosse.

The bridge was shut down after heavy rains and floods this week and an inspection of the bridge abutments was scheduled for this morning.

The closure had created a barrier to aid efforts coming from La Crosse.
