Distillery ready to open in downtown La Crosse

A historic opening for La Crosse’s downtown.

At 5 p.m. Friday, the La Crosse Distilling Company will open its doors on Second Street.

The distillery building has been under construction since last year.

It appears to be the very first commercial distillery in the city’s history.

The 10,000-square-foot distillery has a tasting room that can hold 190 people.

Regular hours will continue after Friday’s opener:

Bar

• Sunday–Thursday (closed Tue) 11 a.m.–midnight
• Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.–1 a.m.

Kitchen

• Sunday–Thursday (closed Tue) 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
• Friday & Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
