14-time drunk driver charged in Jackson County

A 64-year-old Jackson County man has been busted for drunk driving for the 14th time.

Herman Decorah of Black River Falls failed to stop for an officer who saw that his registration was suspended.

The cop caught up with Decorah when he pulled into a driveway, and smelled alcohol.

Decorah would not submit to field sobriety tests or a blood draw, and was taken to jail.

The arrest happened on Wednesday night and charges were filed Friday.

Decorah’s last conviction for drunk driving in Wisconsin was in 2013.
