Police investigate possible murder-suicide in Winona

Police received 911 call from man, who said he accidentally shot girlfriend. 

It was apparently a murder-suicide in Winona, though the details are somewhat vague.

Around 3 a.m. Monday, Winona police received a 911 call from a man saying he’d accidentally shot his girlfriend. He told police they had been struggling with each other over a handgun.

When police arrived at the house on Chatfield St., they heard a gunshot.

After a short time trying to contact anyone in the house, officers went inside to find 43-year-old Dano Radawitz and 34-year-old Jaida Hoffman dead.

Police think the man killed himself. No one else was in the house.
