Candidates and issue discussions get attention at Counties Association meeting in La Crosse
La Crosse is hosting county leaders from throughout Wisconsin this week, at the yearly Counties Association conference.
The meeting began on Sunday at the La Crosse Center.
Candidates for governor and U.S. Senate are scheduled to speak to delegates today, including incumbent Gov. Scott Walker.
The county officials also will hold workshops dealing with topics such as juvenile corrections, building security, nursing homes and the state’s mining moratorium.
