What does La Crosse look like for the elderly? What should it look like for seniors of the future?

Those are some questions one will find on a underway by the city, which is looking for feedback on things like transportation and recreational opportunities, as well as safety.

The city is searching for ways to make the community more livable, Jack Zabrowski, in the city’s planning office, said.

“When you create a livable community, it accommodates people from 8 to 80, maybe even 100,” he said. “So, when you make a place livable, it accommodates everyone.”

The survey, in conjunction with the AARP organization, can be completed on the city’s website (here) or directly to it (here) or by picking up a paper copy in the city planning office.

Responses are accepted until Dec. 1.
