A child rape case from about 20 years ago could be heard next month in Winona County court.

Richard Pollema of Winona is 56 years old now.

He’s accused of sexual misconduct, for allegedly raping a young teenage girl, impregnating her back in 1997 — when he was 35.

Pollema reportedly admitted to fathering the child.

The victim claims Pollema sexually assaulted her several times over a two-year period while she was between the ages of 13 and 15.

They apparently met in an online chatroom.
