Health care tops Wisconsin voters concerns, as Medicaid changes approved for state

Health care is the most important issue for Wisconsin voters and Gov. Scott Walker has certainly provided talking points for those voters with the latest from Washington.

The Trump administration has approved Walker’s requested work requirements for childless adult Medicaid recipients in the state, ages 19-64.

But, the administration has also stripped required drug testing from Walker’s plans.

Instead, the administration approved a small monthly premium for those receiving Medicaid and a 48-month limit on benefits for recipients without jobs.

Walker said the plan insures people get help “who truly need it.”

A Marquette University Law School poll released this week found health care to be the number one issue for voters ahead of the upcoming election.

It’s about time something is done about the lazy people trying to get something for nothing and we all end up paying for it. I’m 78 yrs old and still working full time because no one supports me…there’s something wrong with this picture!!! I know what it is….I’m toooooo proud to walk into a social services office looking for a handout!!!

You should be enjoying your retirement instead of trying to make others suffer.
