Record rain on Sunday helps get November off to soggy start in La Crosse

November is off to a wet start in western Wisconsin.

Rain swept through the region this weekend, and La Crosse already has two inches of rain through the first four days of the month.

The city saw a rainfall record for November 4th, with 1.77 inches of precipitation just on Sunday.

The rain total for La Crosse since September 1st is now up to 12 inches…which is double the normal rainfall for that period.

The forecast this week calls for rain to end tonight, followed by a couple of cloudy days, and a slight chance of rain returning by Friday.
