Driver killed in Wilton crash identified as 22-year-old man
The UTV driver who was killed after crashing into a utility pole in Wilton has been identified by Monroe County sheriff’s officers.
Twenty-two-year-old Jared Chambers of Wilton hit the pole and a mailbox after crossing the center line of Highway 71, early Sunday morning.
The pole snapped, and some power lines fell as a result.
Chambers was pronounced dead after he was taken to a Tomah hospital.
Investigators still don’t know how Chambers lost control of his vehicle.
