Another arrest for a frequent drug offender in La Crosse.

The La Crosse County sheriff’s office says 44-year-old Aric Elmore is one of three people being charged with heroin crimes.

Elmore was arrested Tuesday, along with Homer Taylor and April Berzinski, at an address in the 1000 block of State Street in La Crosse.

Three charges of delivering heroin are being filed against Elmore.

Berzinski and Taylor are facing one count each of conspiring to deliver heroin.

Elmore’s newest arrest comes just a few weeks after he was sentenced to probation for maintaining a drug trafficking place.

In that previous case, Judge Elliott Levine stayed a prison sentence, and warned Elmore that he would go to prison if he continued dealing drugs.

Elmore has a court appearance scheduled on Wednesday.

The West Central MEG Drug Task Force, the sheriff’s department, and Onalaska Police headed the investigation.
