Jackson County woman accused of leading police chase in stolen car
A police chase over 30 miles in the Black River Falls area has led to the arrest of a 27-year-old woman.
Kaylee Berg of Black River Falls reportedly was driving a stolen Pontiac G6 around 7 a.m. Monday, when police spotted her at a Kwik Trip.
After attempting to stop her, Berg took off, first through several additional parking lots, then grass areas before getting onto N. Water Street.
She continued for about 35 minutes through Black River Falls, then onto several town roads before police deployed a tire deflation device and stopped her near Kirch and Staffon roads.
Police had several arrest outstanding warrants for Berg, who’s now also being charged with car theft and fleeing an officer, among other things.
