The Town of Campbell is getting some help to buy a fire truck, as well as finance some roadwork.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands gave the town two loans totaling just over $1 million.

The roadwork took up the bigger loan for $700,000.

It was one two of 13 loans given out to municipalities across the state.

The fire truck will replace the current one, which is 35 years old.
