Evers attended the UW System Board of Regents meeting at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Student Union building that opened last year.

It was the first regents meeting on campus in the last five years.

Evers advocated for more funding of the college system, especially if the regents continue tuition freezes.

System President Ray Cross recently reprimanded Gow for his choice to bring former porn star Nina Hartley to speak during free-speech week.
