November was safer on Wisconsin roads
This November was an unusually safe month on Wisconsin highways.
The DOT reported 39 traffic deaths around the state during the month.
That’s the lowest monthly toll in Wisconsin since last April, when heavy snows may have cut down on travel.
And it’s the lowest toll for November in at least six years.
Normally, there are about 50 traffic deaths during November in Wisconsin.
The state is on track to have its lowest yearly highway toll since 2015.
