Lexvold faces sentencing this week for 2016 standoff
A La Crosse man who was shot while trying to charge at police with a heavy chain two years ago is scheduled to be sentenced this week.
Daniel Lexvold could get a prison term at his sentencing hearing on Thursday.
Lexvold pled ‘no contest’ this summer to threatening police with a logging chain during a standoff at Medary, in December of 2016.
The 39-year-old Lexvold was shot twice by officers, and he had mental problems for several months after the shooting.
Several recent court cases involving Lexvold were cleared up as part of his negotiated plea.
