Former Wisconsin Badgers standout Frank Kaminsky is in the national spotlight for something greater than basketball.

When the fire alarm went off in his building the current Charlotte Hornets forward headed down the stairwell. Soon enough, Kaminsky spotted one of his neighbors in need of help.

“About three stories down, there was a lady with a baby and a dog and a couple of other things she had to carry, so I just helped her carry the baby,” Kaminsky told the Charlotte Observer.

The 7-footer helped carried the child down 46 flights.

The deed has led to all kinds of attention for Kaminsky.

“Kinda crazy how this all took off and it led to being on Good Morning America, Fox News, and CNN but being kind to one another will never go out of style. #PositiveVibes,” Kamisnky wrote on Istagram.
