Charges filed against three suspects in south La Crosse gunfire and chase

Three arrested after a weekend police chase in La Crosse are now charged with several crimes.

Jesse Turnmire, Peng Lor and Sophie Yang are accused of leading officers on a chase after gunshots were fired at a South Avenue apartment building Saturday night.

Bullet holes were found on the walls of the building, but nobody was hurt.

Turnmire, 29, from Bangor, is charged with repeat felony possession of a firearm.

Police believe the three were carrying stolen guns.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
