Park reservations for new year start Wednesday

The start of a new year always brings a quick spurt of activity at the La Crosse park and rec. department. 

Wednesday will be the first business day of 2019 at City Hall, and the first day to reserve picnic areas and shelters for the year. 

Peg Isola, with the park department, said park reservations for 2019 will be accepted online, starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday. 

You can drop by the office in person at 9 a.m. to reserve in person. 

Myrick and Riverside Parks are among the most popular places for graduation and wedding parties in La Crosse.
