More lead shot removal expected in Myrick marsh

Looks like the city of La Crosse has more work to do to get the lead out…of the La Crosse River marsh. 

A consulting firm is asking the city to expand its efforts to clean lead pellets out of the marsh, years after lead shot ended up in the water because of gun club activities at Myrick Park. 

The next round of clean-up activities could last much of this year, or even longer. 

The issue comes up Monday before the La Crosse board of public works.
