More snow on the way following Friday’s storm

The La Crosse area could see another blanket of snow in the next 48 hours, on top of the storm which came through late last week. 

The National Weather Service says La Crosse and surrounding counties could get 4 to 6 inches of snow, and maybe some ice, on Tuesday. 

La Crosse received 4 to 5 inches of snow cover from Friday morning into early Saturday, making that the heaviest snowfall in the city so far this winter. 

Some parts of northern Iowa got up to 14 inches of snow from that storm system.
