Just a little longer to endure this extreme cold, but now the National Weather Service of La Crosse says expect some snow.

The windchill could hit anywhere from negative-40 to -55 through mid-morning, which means frostbite could set in on exposed skin within 10 minutes.

Beyond that, however, plan ahead for light snow and slick travel in spots Thursday afternoon and evening, according to the weather service.
