Two men accused of armed robbery in north La Crosse holdup
A report of gunfire leads to armed robbery charges against two north La Crosse men.
Justin Ellis and Timothy Ellis are expected in court Thursday, for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint on Liberty Street yesterday.
The victim claims his car has a bullet hole from a shot fired by Timothy during the holdup.
Police traced footprints from the robbery scene to a house on Gould Street, and waited for several hours outside the building until getting a warrant to go inside.
The two suspects are accused of robbery and reckless endangerment.
