STACY, Minn. — Nothing hurt, except maybe the pilot’s wallet.

A small plane had to make an emergency landing on an exit ramp to Interstate 35 in Stacy, near Minneapolis.

Police there quipped, the pilot was given a ticket for taking up four parking spaces.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office says the single-engine plane overheated and had to land.

The plane was brought down the exit ramp and taxied to a nearby Kwik Trip.
