West Salem man caught selling guns to ATF agent

A West Salem man is accused of trying to trade firearms for a pound of meth. 

And he’s a convicted felon who’s not supposed to have guns. 

Keith Stankey allegedly sold two rifles and a double-barrel shotgun to an undercover agent from the ATF on Tuesday. 

The gun deal reportedly happened in a bedroom used by Stankey’s mother. 

The 27-year-old Stankey is also charged with trafficking in drugs at the house. 

He was convicted three times in the past 12 months on drug and weapon charges.
