The La Crosse Center board has figured out a design plan that will come under the $42 million limit set by City Hall.

Board members have approved a proposal worth $41,174,000 which will be submitted to city council committees next month.

To get below $42 million, reductions are being made in the lobby and atrium designs.

The board will make a presentation to city council members on Monday, which could include a computerized video to show what a remodeled Center might look like on the inside.
