Back to 14 feet by tomorrow on La Crosse riverfront

The trend is downward for the Mississippi in La Crosse, after a crest of 14.55 feet this week. 

The river is at 14.2 feet Friday morning, and is expected to fall below 14 feet by early Saturday. 

It could take until next Wednesday for the river to fall another foot. 

Meanwhile, the river appears to be cresting today downriver at the Lynxville Dam and in McGregor.
