Arrest made in suspicious death at Tomah

TOMAH, Wis. — A weekend death in Tomah is being considered suspicious by police. 

Tomah officers and ambulance workers were sent to a house on Jodi Circle late Friday afternoon, for a medical emergency. 

Life-saving measures were used on a patient at the house, but the person died shortly after being taken to the Tomah hospital. 

Further information in the case led police to arrest a suspect in the death. That suspect was taken into custody during a vehicle stop. 

It has not been announced when the suspect could appear in Monroe County Court.
