Drug suspects in La Crosse get high cash bond

Bond has been set for two suspects arrested on drug trafficking charges this week in La Crosse.

Lavon Liggins will need $10,000 cash to get out of jail. 

He’s accused of dealing drugs from a 4th Street apartment and owning a handgun as a convicted felon. 

Co-defendant Brittany Basley is jailed under a $5,000 bond and faces fewer charges than Liggins. 

During a raid on Monday, La Crosse police found heroin, ecstasy and $7,000 in the apartment, where arranged drug deals were made. 

Criminal complaints could be filed on Thursday by the DA’s office.
