It was a scene that looked straight out of a horror film.

Multiple men running around, screaming and blowing mucus out of their noses after they had been pepper sprayed.

That was the scene, as La Crosse Police arrived to a fight on 3rd Street early Saturday morning.

Onyx Hoeppner had been called a “towel head” for wearing a shirt on his head.

The 21-year-old confronted the group of three men, who insulted him, and punched one of them in the face, according to the police report.

That led to an all out brawl between six people, where one of Hoeppner’s friends maced the other group.

As the fight was wrapping up, Hoeppner allegedly stabbed a man in the back three times with an ice pick.

He’s charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct while armed, and battery.

Austin Barton, 22, is charged with battery for punching Hoeppner.

The rest were cited for disorderly conduct.
