Heroin from La Crosse being blamed for Juneau County deaths

One area county suspects that a couple of recent drug deaths can be traced to a potent supply of heroin found this month in La Crosse. 

Two men in Juneau County apparently died from drug overdoses on the 3rd of July, one in New Lisbon, the other in Necedah.

That same week, La Crosse County medical examiner Tim Candahl announced that a supply of heroin possibly mixed with fentanyl had led to several overdoses in the immediate La Crosse area. 

The investigations in Juneau County are continuing.
