As I See It

Time to move on from Mueller report

It was hardly must-see TV. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill questioned Robert Mueller for hours yesterday about Russian interference in the 2016 election, and whether the President or his administration may have colluded with the Russians. His 448 page report failed to reach much of a consensus, other than there was interference in the election, and that while they could not charge President Trump with a crime, they also failed to exonerate him. Apparently democrats thought putting Mueller on tv would gather more information, or change some minds. Not so much. We didn’t learn anything new yesterday, and it is unlikely we are going to. So it is up to individual voters to make up their minds about whether President Trump did anything wrong. And they likely made their mind up on that months or years ago. What is the point of even continuing the line of questioning? .Democrats are not going to gain anything by continuing to press this topic. As we saw yesterday, Mueller didn’t suddenly open up about how he really feels. The only tool democrats have to try to take down Trump is impeachment, and there doesn’t seem to be the political will for that. At the end of the day, those upset with the President seem to be exactly where they were at the beginning of the day, hoping to get Trump out of office, but lacking the public support to make that a politically wise move.

This whole “Russian Collusion” thing is a total lie, from start to finish. A distraction, an attempt to delegitimize a duly elected president of the American people!

Another embarrassment in the endless stream of lies and distractions from the Leftist Democrats- the anti-Abraham Lincoln party from Wisconsin that was opposed to oppression and slavery from the start. And another smear on the Democrat Carpetbaggers that only tried to capitalize on racial conflict- first by championing slavery, and then switching over to race-baiting and pandering via affirmative action and the rest of the race industry.
