Courts
Bond for repeat drug offender set at $25,000
Drug suspect Jack Taylor is facing five new criminal counts after a drug search at his George Street apartment in La Crosse this week.
Taylor is jailed under a $25,000 cash bond, but he tells the court that he doesn’t plan on ‘running’ from the area.
He’s accused of running a drug trafficking place, where more than $4000 worth of meth was found by La Crosse cops.
After Taylor’s arrest on Wednesday, city police publicly criticized the courts for releasing him after a previous drug arrest in May.
Taylor also is facing several drug charges in Minnesota.
