Organic farming show ready to return to La Crosse for 2 years

One of La Crosse’s biggest conventions of the year is committed to stay here for another two years.

The MOSES organic farm convention is prepared to return to the La Crosse Center in 2020 and 2021, according to center director Art Fahey.

The MOSES meeting brings thousands of people to the city during a weekend in February.

Fahey and the Center have been negotiating with MOSES organizers to continue holding the annual meeting in La Crosse, even though renovations are planned at the civic center over the next couple of years.

Fahey says he and La Crosse convention bureau director A.J. Frels have met with MOSES organizers, to assure them that the North Hall will be available to the conference.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
